NIMA will be held this year on 14th/15th November at Trinity, Conference Centre. The speakers will be David Cook, Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College and Justin Mote, Associate Minister of St Andrew’s, Leyland and Director of the North West Training Course. Crosslinks and Irish Church Missions are hosting a church planting conference on 18th/19th May with Richard Coekin (Senior Pastor and Director Co-Mission) as the main speaker. Another preaching conference is planned for January 2011. Last year the intended speaker was Bob Fyall but he fell ill and had to withdraw. Bob’s health has now improved and he plans to be with us this year. Keep an eye on website for further details.
An MTS Generation Next? training event will be held on Monday 7th June, 2010 @ 10am – 1pm, Knockbreda Parish Church Halls. The speaker will be Chris Green, Vice Principal of Oakhill Theological College, London. The morning is for trainers, elders, leaders, ministry apprentices and potential apprentices. Cost £5 including lunch.

Well known Australian NT scholar Peter O’Brien will be speaking on preaching on Ephesians on 6th March. This event will take place on 6th March 2010 in St Elizabeth’s Dundonald. More details to follow but for the time being put a note in your diary.

Christmas @ the Castle will be held at Castlewellan Castle on 4th – 6th December 2009. Christopher Ash, Director of the Cornhill Training Course, and author of several books, will give five talks from the book of Job during the weekend
He will also speak at a pastors’ conference which will run from 10am — 1.00pm on Monday 7th December 2009 at the Irish Baptist College, Moira where he will give two talks on how to preach from Proverbs.
